April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Child abuse takes on many different forms. It includes but is not limited to physical and mental abuse, as well as lack of proper nutrition. There are many conditions that can negatively affect a child's life such as safety at and away from home, proper prenatal care, childhood obesity and a host of other conditions too numerous to list.

Join us on April 23rd and meet representatives from: * South Carolina Youth Advocate Program (South Carolina's premier provider of foster care and community based services) * Foothills Pregnancy Center * Oconee County Guardian Ad Litem Program * Oconee County Sheriff Department * Many other nonprofit organizations dedicated to protecting our children.

All proceeds benefit local charities. Music provided by StoneEcho. Food available for purchase from Zaxby's of Seneca. All donations welcome and are tax deductible. Free community event 6pm-11pm.
